Norman Australia has really worked hard on their research and development to address some of the concerns in similar products like Verishades.

SmartDrape™ features an innovative design where individual fabric drops are suspended in sheer material. By twisting the wand, you can adjust the opacity of the fabric—either allowing more light in with a sheer effect or alternatively providing complete privacy and room darkening. The shade can be operated manually or via the motorised option for even greater convenience.
SmartDrape™ can cover widths up to 6 metres feet with a single track. For larger openings, you can combine multiple shades to achieve seamless coverage where we look to utilise our experience in technical installations to assist make the product sit flush and beautifully in your home.
SmartDrape™ comes in a range of on-trend colors including whites, off-whites, and grays, and beiges. The collection also offers different fabric patterns such as circles, teardrops, and a variety of textures to complement your interior design.
As this is a relatively new product to the Canberra blinds and curtains market, the fabric range is a limited. Norman Australia are working with Aurora Designs in bringing out new fabrics including some exclusive to Aurora in the near future.
You can control SmartDrape™ manually by twisting the wand to adjust the fabric opacity or sliding it to open and close the vanes. If you opt for the motorised version, you can control the shades remotely or automate them using a wide range or apps or home automation tools, such as Google Home, Amazon Alexa or Apple Home Kit.
