You don’t need an account to use our site. We don’t sell directly through the website, and there’s no checkout. You’re free to browse, dream, and reach out when you’re ready to talk about your project.

3. Custom Orders & Payment Terms

We specialise in made-to-measure products. That means we start fresh for every client — no off-the-shelf shortcuts.

Once you’re ready to proceed, our payment terms are simple and industry-standard:
50% deposit at the time of order, and 50% balance due prior to installation.

This allows us to lock in production and book your install.

4. Lead Times & Delivery

Lead times start from the date of your final measure and when your order is formally submitted into our workrooms.

If an additional consult, design confirmation or re-measure is needed, we’ll let you know at the quoting stage. We’re transparent about the process — no surprises.

Because we work with third-party suppliers and custom production, timeframes can vary. We’ll always keep you updated, and appreciate your patience if the occasional delay pops up.

5. Product Performance & Fabric Movement

All fabrics — whether natural or synthetic — are responsive to their environment. Over time, you may notice minor movements such as soft rippling, stretching, or puckering. This is normal and depends on factors like fibre composition, humidity, temperature and window exposure.

It’s part of how fabric behaves in real homes.

Please do not remove, clean, or alter your window furnishings without speaking to us first. We’re happy to provide guidance to help avoid damage or voiding your warranty.

6. Warranties

All products supplied by Aurora Designs & Window Furnishings are covered under Australian Consumer Law, and may also carry additional manufacturer warranties.

We’ll outline specific warranty terms relevant to your order — just keep your invoice or proof of purchase on hand.

Our warranties cover:

  • Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship
  • Hardware faults within the warranty period
  • Normal residential use

     

They do not cover:

  • Natural fabric movement or change over time
  • Incorrect installation by others
  • Misuse, neglect, or unauthorised modifications
  • Improper cleaning or maintenance
