The Verishades are made from 100% high-quality polyester, a durable and long-lasting material that offers exceptional strength and performance. Polyester is known for its resilience, ability to resist fading, and ease of maintenance, making it a practical choice for window coverings in both residential and commercial spaces.
While Verishades are exclusively crafted from polyester, there are no natural fibre options available in this product line.

The Verishades are designed with a UV Protection Factor (UPF) of 50+, offering outstanding protection from harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays. SmartDrape has an elegant, soft fold design that mirrors drapery, offering a high level of style and sophistication. It features individual vanes that can be rotated to control light levels. It is ideal for larger windows, doors, and spaces where ease of access is key, as the vanes allow you to walk through the shade whether it’s open or closed.
Verishade, on the other hand, combines the softness of curtains with the versatility of blinds. They are made from alternating opaque folds and mesh fabrics, offering excellent privacy and light filtering, while allowing you to adjust light levels with a simple twist of the wand.
In essence, they are a very similar product. Both are relatively new products to the window furnishings industry. In our experienced opinion, the Smart Drape offers smoother operation, is a neater and sleeker design and the motorisation is much smoother. The SmartDrape product comes with a 15 year warranty, whereas the Verishades product has a 10 year warranty.
Verishade has a wider range of fabrics including styles/prints on the sheer part of the fabric, and the Verishade track can be curved.
Verishades are made locally for Aurora Designs, whereas the SmartDrape product is imported into Canberra.
